#TeamSWIZA: Patricia, 10 years of loyalty and passion for the Jura-based brand

Behind every SWIZA Swiss knife are the hands that craft it—and the minds that keep the company running with care, fluidity, and efficiency. Patricia is one of those key people. As an executive assistant, she is the living memory of SWIZA. Present since day one, she has seen every milestone, challenge, and evolution.

A Central Role, Quietly Held

Patricia holds a transversal position: “I’m a bit of the glue in the company, with a 360° view.” What she loves? The autonomy, organizational freedom, and above all, the absence of routine. Every day is unique, full of challenges and interactions—touching everything from admin to HR, purchasing to finance.

A Decade Supporting the Jura Swiss Knife

A former Wenger employee, Patricia joined SWIZA in 2014, right at the beginning. “There was nothing: no machines, no design, a blank slate. We were fewer than ten. But we carried a big vision: to revive the Swiss knife in Delémont.”

She witnessed the official launch in October 2015—an intense period: “The press kept calling, we were swamped—but it was thrilling. Living that in a career is a rare gift.”

A Daily Routine as Versatile as a SWIZA Knife

What she loves most? Variety. Patricia compares her role to a Swiss knife—multi-faceted. She juggles countless tasks, anticipates needs, and ensures everything runs smoothly. Her mission: for everyone to work in the best conditions. “I love working behind the scenes, organizing for others so things go well.”

Values as Strong as Our Blades

For Patricia, SWIZA is above all a human company, guided by product passion and regional pride. Working here also means balancing work and family life: “When I started, my son was five. Today he’s fifteen, and I’ve been able to be present for him while being fully engaged in my job.”

Jurassian Pride and Local Roots

What makes SWIZA knives unique? The Jura soul, of course. “Local anchoring is essential. You really feel the desire to showcase our regional know-how.” For Patricia, each SWIZA knife is a Swiss Jura ambassador.

A Journey Fueled by Passion

Over the years and through dozens of colleagues, Patricia has witnessed each stage of SWIZA’s transformation. She fondly remembers the SWIZA tram at Baselworld 2015 or the surgeon who said he had never seen such a clean cut as the one from a SWIZA blade.

Her favorite model? The wooden version with Allmatt finish. “Natural and classy at the same time,” she says with a smile. A knife that perfectly reflects her vision: authentic, useful, and beautiful.

Craftsmanship, Emotion, and Regional Identity

That’s how Patricia describes SWIZA. An agile, lively, passionate company. A place she proudly calls her own.

“Starting a company from scratch, having the freedom to build everything—it's a rare privilege. And I’m proud to have been part of it.”
