2024 - The famous Swiss skipper becomes our new ambassador.

Who could be more genuine, rigorous, agile, and daring than a skipper crossing the Atlantic solo?

His competitive spirit and ability to face all challenges make him the perfect partner for our brand. It is his interest in our knives and our Jura craftsmanship that led Alan to embody the spirit of SWIZA.

In 2019, aboard his Imoca La Fabrique, Alan made history by setting a record for the solo North Atlantic crossing on a 60-foot monohull, covering the distance in just 7 days, 16 hours, 58 minutes, and 25 seconds.

His last participation in The Transat CIC once again demonstrates his talent to master the oceans and his passion for competition.

WHO IS ALAN ROURA?

Alan literally grew up at sea, sailing with his family on an epic eleven-year journey around the world aboard a sailboat. After turning 23 years old, he became the youngest competitor in the history of the
Vendée Globe, finishing in a remarkable 12th place in the 2016-2017 edition.
